Here is an addendum.

In the previous post, I used the words “boring” and “uneventful” to describe our trip through BC.  Well, that is only partly true.  It is also partly false.

We did not break down or have an accident, so I guess you could call that uneventful.  But we did pass through some of the most spectacular sights on the face of planet earth, and that should not be called boring.  Only a spiritually insensate person would say that.

I know that all of you have been in the Thompson-Okanagan region, and the Yellowhead, and Jasper, so you know whereof I speak.  Gorgeous, magnificent, breathtaking, and any other superlative you can muster, especially late of a summer evening and early in the morning.  I’ve driven up that road many times, and it always knocks my lights out.  How can it not?  And what kind of arrogant goof would call that “boring”?  For shame.

It was not boring.  It was utterly breathtaking.  The same as it always is.  The same as all creation is, if you have eyes to see.

Well, Mack James, thank goodness for this errata/addendum! We humans tend to go blind and not see the glory shining in and around “home”. If you can drive the Coke and not THRILL!! Whew! Had me worried, there! One more reason to hit the road….going home is SO good!

Definitely not boring - mountains nor you! Indeed all amazing “if you have eyes to see”! And yay my phone is fixed with a simple turn off and back on - amazing that as well! Enjoy!
